The Ministry of Education has officially released the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu announced the results at a ceremony held at the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) headquarters on Dennis Pritt road in Nairobi on Friday, January 20, 2023.

A total of  881,416 candidates sat for the 2022 KCSE exams. Out of these  443,644 were male while 437,772 were female.

Kenya National Examinations Council (CEO) David Njengere said the marking of the examinations started on December 28, 2022, and ended on January 18, 2023.

During the period, KNEC engaged the services of 30,000 examiners in 35 marking centres.
