Navakholo Member of Parliament, Emmanuel Wangwe, is grieving the loss of his beloved mother, Agneta Nerima, who passed away recently.
The news was confirmed on Wednesday, May 15, by President William Ruto, who offered his condolences to the Wangwe family.
Ruto said Nerima was not only known for her familial role but also her spiritual devotion and her dedication to farming.
He said her mentorship touched the lives of many within her community.
“Our condolences to Mheshimiwa Emmanuel Wangwe for the loss of his dear mother Agneta Nerima. Mama Nerima was spiritual and a dedicated farmer whose mentorship impacted many people. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends at this sad moment. Rest In Peace,” Ruto expressed.

Lugari Constituency’s MP Nabii Nabwera expressed his condolences and praised Agneta as a dedicated community member who made a significant impact on numerous lives.
“I deeply regret the demise of Mama Agnetta Nerima Wangwe, mother of Hon. Emmanuel Wangwe, MNA Navakholo Constituency. The people of Navakholo Constituency will remember her as an astute community member who touched many lives. May the Lord strengthen the Wangwe family during these tough times. May perpetual light shine upon Mama Agnetta, and may her soul rest in eternal tranquillity,” Nabwera penned.
Shinyalu Constituency MP Fredrick Lusuli sent his condolences as well.
“On behalf of my family and the great people of Shinyalu Constituency, I send condolences to Hon. Emmanuel Wangwe, his family and friends following the loss of his dear mum. Be encouraged my brother. I’m praying for you. May the soul of your dear mum rest in eternity.”
Wangwe is the representative for Navakholo Constituency and belongs to the ODM Party. Additionally, he holds the position of Minority Whip in the National Assembly.
