Two people have reportedly died after a four-storey building collapsed in Infinity Area in Mwiki Estate, Kasarani, Nairobi county.
Kelvin Kamau a resident in the area says that the building collapsed at around 6 pm on Wednesday, August 10.
He noted that more people are still trapped.
“So far two people a mother and her child have been confirmed to be dead. The rest of the people are trapped in the house and are being rescued since the house sunk at around 6 pm,” Kamau stated.
Currently, rescue operations are underway where the team is led by St John Ambulance, Kenya Red Cross and the police officer from the area.
