Ksh3M in the pocket! Tusker stun Kenya Police to win FKF Cup
Tusker FC has claimed the lucrative 2026 Football Kenya Federation KSh3 million prize money after edging Kenya Police FC 2-1 in a thrilling finale played in Kwale on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
The encounter was decided by a stylish first-half brace from Ian Simiyu to seal a first title for French coach Jullien Mette. The former NSL star got the Brewers upfront in the 29th minute before sealing his brace with a shot that evaded Police custodian Daniel Ogembo.

The victory assured the team of the financial reward of KSh 3 million that awaited the edition’s winner as police settled for the runner’s position.
Earlier, Bandari FC clinched the third-place playoff spot in the 2026 Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup after edging KCB 2-0 at the same venue.
By virtue of their triumph, Brewers will now represent Kenya in the CAF Confederation Cup as the new champions of the Premier Cup competition, taking over from Nairobi United, who beat Gor Mahia to the 2025 finals.
The Kwale event officially closed the curtain on an eventful campaign of the Kenyan football league that culminated with Gor Mahia crowned as the league champions and Tusker as the FKF Cup champions.
