Shabana end winless run with victory against Bidco United

Shabana FC snapped a three-game winless run in the Football Kenya Premier League with a hard-fought 1-0 win over struggling Bidco United on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Assis Mambote stepped up to convert the all-important goal after being upended in the box to seal the late victory for the Glamour Boys, who officially confirmed Bidco United’s relegation from the top-flight league with two games to conclude the campaign.
Bidco now joins Sofapaka FC among the teams to be relegated from the football top tier in the 2025/26 season.

The win lifts Osborne’s Monday-coached team above Nairobi United to fourth on 51 points, 15 points behind log leaders Gor Mahia.
