PSG name squad for Champions League clash against Arsenal
PSG manager Luis Enrique has unveiled a strong 24-man squad to face Arsenal on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the UEFA Champions League final in Budapest, Hungary.
The Spaniard has constantly rotated his squad domestically to keep his key players fresh as focus shifts from defending their domestic crown to the European crown.
Among the stars named is Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé, who will lead a potent offensive line on his return to the team alongside Achraf Hakimi.
The Frenchman will do so with the assistance of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué, the rising French starlet whose stock in the competition continues to rise rapidly with his ability to take on defenders from the flanks.

Russian custodian Matvey Safonov, who featured in the competition’s knockout rounds, also retains his place among the three keepers as he hopes to start between the sticks. Defensively, Ecuadorian Willian Pacho and Brazil skipper Marquinhos are expected to partner at the heart of the team’s rearguard.
Attack vs defense
The French champions’ attack headlines much of the pre-match talking points ahead of a finale dubbed an “attack vs. defense” masterclass.
The Parisians’ offense has been the team’s most ruthless department, racking up 44 goals so far and leaving European opponents shuddering in its sight.

The team eliminated Chelsea FC and Bayern Munich in a ruthless display of phenomenal attacking football. They sent Liam Rosenior’s team packing with an 8-2 aggregate win in the round of 16 before adding six-time competition winners Liverpool to their casualty list with a 4-0 aggregate score in the quarterfinals.
Ahead of the Arsenal clash, the cup holders come up against a resolute Gunners backline that has conceded only six goals throughout the entire competition.
Arsenal take their stellar unbeaten European run into the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, May 30, 2026, where they are set to clash with Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest, Hungary.
Mikel Arteta, fresh from a morale-boosting domestic title, has challenged his players to rise to the occasion and deliver a memorable finale to a season that could see them crowned double winners both at home and in Europe.
“We still have to take that final step to close the business. This is the opportunity we have worked for in these last few games, and we are looking forward to it,” Arteta added.
