Police FC coach Nicholas Muyoti has demanded a more clinical display from the reigning league champions following another tied outcome in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League.

The law enforcers let go of a goal lead to draw Ulinzi Stars on Sunday, February 15, 2026, dropping more points and leaving them in danger of retaining their league title.

Matters were further compounded for the reigning champions with Gor Mahia’s win over APS Bomet, extending the new leaders’ points atop the league standings to six points.

Conceding

“We need to relook at such instances that we conceded from and avoid such scenarios by being more defensive. We conceded from a goal where the winger appeared to be crossing the ball, and it ended up in the net,” the trainer stated regarding the goal.

Commenting on the nitty-gritty that defined the encounter, Muyoti acknowledged that limiting their opponent’s forays and safeguarding their leads in games must now take precedence in their future plans.

Against Ulinzi, Telena Ochieng’s cross-cum-shot somewhat caught and sailed past an out-of-position Job Ochieng for the equaliser.

“In the second half our opponents became more powerful, and it was incumbent on us to press them and deny them the changes and the crosses they relied on. Overall, I think we can do much better to improve our play and do better in the final half. Our game was good. This was a game we could have easily gotten the maximum points in. We only need to convert the chances we are creating,” he posited.

With the draw, the Police remain winless in their last three games. They are ranked sixth in the standings, with 30 points, a point outside the top five teams. and 13 adrift of Gor Mahia at the summit.

Their seventh draw of the season means the law enforcers boast the most draws (9) in the league after Bandari (10).
