By Luke Oluoch, June 29, 2026Stakeholders, members, and fans of Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League giants AFC Leopards have been praised for their outstanding commitment following the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
In a heartfelt message issued after the successful assembly, club treasurer Newton Lime asserted that members demonstrated immense dedication to the club’s welfare through an impressive turnout.
The official also lauded their active participation and valuable insights, emphasising that it reflects the unity, passion, and commitment driving the historic club forward.
AGM meeting
Ingwe held the annual meeting to discuss major structural and financial decisions, marking exactly one year since the current official leadership group, led by chairman Boniface Ambani, took charge during the June 2025 club elections.
“A heartfelt thank you to all AFC Leopards Sports Club members, supporters, branch officials, sponsors, and stakeholders who attended the Annual General Meeting held on 28th June 2026. Your impressive turnout, active participation, and valuable contributions reflect the unity, passion, and commitment that continue to drive our great club forward,” Lime said in an official statement.
Revenue growth and financial stability
During the meeting, Lima presented a highly positive financial report for the concluded year. The highlights included a notable Ksh 16.2 million surplus, a significant surge in matchday revenue, increased corporate sponsorship income, and sustained investment in the club’s future.

The treasurer noted that this robust financial health has been critical in bringing overall stability to Ingwe. This, in turn, allowed management to prioritize player welfare, a crucial factor that translated onto the pitch as AFC Leopards put up a fierce campaign to finish the season as the league’s runners-up.
Call for Unity
In his closing remarks, Lima called for a collaborative approach to strengthening the club’s structures by boosting official membership numbers and maintaining prudent financial management.
“As we move forward, let us remain united in strengthening AFC Leopards through increased membership, greater match attendance, responsible financial management, and continued support for youth development. Together, we are stronger. Thank you for believing in AFC Leopards Sports Club. Ingwe forever!” he implored.
The message comes after Chairman Ambani also expressed his commitment to the club.
“The club is on the right trajectory. We will strive to make it better. Thanks a million times to the attendees…AFC Leopards AGM at Nyayo Stadium,” Ambani’s concise message on his Facebook page read after the meeting.
