The Norwegian goal machine bagged a brace to help Ståle Solbakken’s side edge a stubborn Danish team 3–2 and clinch victory.
This latest milestone surpasses the overall international records set by Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazário and Swedish talisman Zlatan Ibrahimović, both of whom finished their international careers with 62 goals for their respective countries.
All-time international scorers
The feat also cements his status as the top scorer in the European competition, boasting 19 goals in 11 games. The Vikings striker stands ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 19 goals in 20 appearances, and Aleksandar Mitrović, with 15 goals in 19 games.
Meanwhile, on the broader international scene, Haaland now sits in 35th position among all-time leading goalscorers. He is ranked just one goal behind Didier Drogba, who scored 65 international goals for the Ivory Coast.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi continue to lead the global scoring charts at the very summit with a haul of 146 goals in 224 games, making the Portuguese veteran the leader.

Norway made a strong start when Oscar Bobb opened the scoring in the 14th minute. Haaland doubled the lead four minutes later after Antonio Nusa picked him out with a precise through ball, allowing the striker to calmly finish with his left foot and bring his international tally to 63 goals in 56 appearances.
Denmark refused to roll over, with Mikkel Damsgaard pulling one back before Rasmus Højlund equalized in the second half to make it 2–2.
Not to be denied, Haaland stepped up again in the 74th minute, reacting quickly from a short-corner routine to fire Norway back in front. The brace took his international tally to 64 goals and extended his record as the Nations League’s all-time leading scorer.
Continuing record-breaking form
This latest milestone adds to a remarkable run of form for both club and country following a stellar seven-goal World Cup qualifying campaign.
The prolific forward recently crossed the 300-goal mark for club and country, moving past legendary Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero in the club’s European scoring charts following a decisive double in the UEFA Champions League against FC Porto at the Estádio do Dragão.
His goal in the controversial Manchester derby also saw him surpass Wayne Rooney and Aguero as the scorer with the most derby goals.
