Gor Mahia issues stadium access protocol amid Majembe-Mbavu boxing clash

Gor Mahia FC has issued specific matchday guidelines ahead of the highly anticipated FKF Premier League clash between Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

In the explicit guidelines meant to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and stadium access, the home team advised fans attending the match to access the stadium precinct through outer Gates 2 and 12.

Arrival and Stadium Entry Protocol

“For the VVIP and VIP ticket holders, they should proceed to the inner Gate 19 for entry,” Gor said in a statement.

The club has also confirmed that dedicated parking for those guests would be provided inside the stadium.

Meanwhile, regular ticket holders have been directed to enter the stands through turnstiles 40–45. For those driving, the designated parking will be available on the left side, just outside Gate 19.

Egress and departures

While exiting the stadium. Gor Mahia advises that fans on the calvary and those driving stick to their respective routes. Gates 2 and 12 will be reserved for pedestrians, while motorists are requested to exit exclusively through Gate 12.

The club has further communicated that Gates 3 and 4 will be reserved for the separate boxing match event, urging fans to stay clear of them.

“Supporters are kindly asked to note that Gates 3 and 4 are strictly reserved for a separate boxing event taking place at the complex and will not be accessible to football fans.

Gor and title-chasing rivals AFC Leopards were forced to seek alternative venues from the Nyayo National Stadium, which they have been using for their league engagements.

The venue is being readied for the upcoming Kip-Keino Classics games as well as the FIFA Women Series set to be staged in Kenya from April 11 to 15.

AFC, on their part, will play their Sunday, April 5, 2026, clash away to Murang’a Seal at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
