Man City star Omar Marmoush shares stunning wedding photos

Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush has given fans a glimpse into his private life after posting a series of striking photographs from his wedding celebration with his wife, Jailan El Gabbas.
The Egyptian attacker accompanied the images with the message, “Let the celebrations begin,” on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Marmoush confirms wedding celebrations
Marmoush had previously revealed that he and his longtime partner had married in June 2026. At the time, he shared Instagram Stories featuring their wedding rings shortly before Egypt began its World Cup campaign.

Although that appeared to confirm their marriage, the latest images offer a much broader look at the couple’s official celebrations.
Jailan El Gabbas, an Egyptian model and influencer, has generally maintained a relatively private profile alongside Marmoush. Their latest photographs have attracted attention because of the couple’s formal appearance and the elegant setting.
Fans send their congratulations
Supporters quickly filled the comments with messages celebrating the couple and wishing them well.
Some followers brought football humour into their congratulations, joking that Marmoush had managed to “bag a golden boot in real life.”
Others teased the Manchester City forward with football-related jokes while also praising the photographs and congratulating him and his wife.
Marmoush preparing for another City campaign
Away from the celebrations, Marmoush is preparing for an important season with Manchester City.

The forward has become an influential attacking player since moving to the club, with his speed, movement and ability to create scoring opportunities making him an important part of the team’s attacking options.
City are entering a new era following Pep Guardiola’s departure at the conclusion of the 2025-26 campaign. Enzo Maresca has since taken charge on a three-year contract and has described the transition as a “reset”, giving members of the squad an opportunity to establish themselves under the new manager.
City complete pre-season preparations
Marmoush has featured during City’s pre-season tour of Asia as Maresca works to shape his squad ahead of the new competitive campaign.
City drew 1-1 with Inter Milan in Hong Kong before securing 3-1 wins against a K-League All Stars team and Atlético Madrid in Seoul.
The Community Shield against Arsenal at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026, while City’s Premier League campaign is set to begin at home against Bournemouth on August 23, 2026.
Ahead of the Community Shield clash, Maresca said the match presents another opportunity for City to contests for a silverware.
“For me personally it is a trophy,” Maresca explained in his pre-match press conference.
“When trophies and a final are there, you always try to win the game.
“So, no friendly game at all. It’s a trophy that we are going to try our best to win, to win the first trophy,” he said.
With the new season approaching, Marmoush will hope to remain a regular part of Maresca’s attacking plans as Manchester City begin life under their new manager.
