Barcelona Women reach 900-win milestone after Paris FC victory

The milestone was achieved during their opening fixture of the 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Champions League campaign, with Pere Romeu’s team producing an impressive display against Paris FC at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
The reigning European champions maintained their unbeaten beginning to the season by defeating the French side 5-2 and making a strong statement at the start of their Champions League title defence.
Pajor leads Barcelona’s attacking charge
Barcelona marked the historic occasion in convincing fashion, scoring five times in a match in which they controlled much of the contest.
Ewa Pajor was at the centre of the attacking display, scoring twice. Kerolin, Clara Serrajordi and Caroline Graham Hansen also found the net as Barcelona comfortably overcame Paris FC.
The result means Romeu’s side have yet to suffer defeat in any competition this season, giving them an encouraging start as they attempt to retain their European crown.
900 victories in 1,247 matches
Barcelona’s women’s team reached the remarkable figure after playing 1,247 official matches since 1988.
Their record now stands at 900 wins, highlighting the consistency the club has maintained across domestic and European competitions over several decades.
The majority of those victories have come in Spain’s top division, where Barcelona have collected 619 wins.
They have also recorded 97 victories in the Segunda Division, 82 in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, 66 in the Copa de la Reina, 24 in the Copa Catalunya and 12 in the Spanish Super Cup.
The latest achievement adds to a year of notable landmarks for the Catalan club. In February 2026, Barcelona celebrated reaching 700 league victories across Spain’s top two divisions.
Barcelona eye 1,000 victories
With the 900-win mark now secured, Barcelona Femení have another major figure within sight.
The club will now attempt to continue its remarkable record as Romeu’s team compete on several fronts during the season.
Their immediate priority is to build momentum in Europe while also maintaining their challenge in domestic competitions.
After beginning their Champions League title defence with a five-goal performance, Barcelona will hope the historic victory becomes the foundation for another successful European campaign.
