Boniface Ambani has called on the AFC Leopards fraternity to bounce back from their crushing defeat against Mathare United.

In a heartfelt and motivational Facebook post on Monday, March 16, 2026, the club chairman urged fans to stay positive and focused, emphasising that there’s still a lot of football left to play.

“A tough weekend…We are back and energized for the next week. Despite the heavy loss, we won’t give up till the end,” he wrote.

The former Kenyan international further challenged the supporters not to be engulfed with sorrow amid the tough spell.

“What many people don’t understand is that despite our struggles, we must always find a way to joke the stress away and move on,” he added, rallying the troops for the challenges ahead.

The defeat saw Ingwe lose a strong position in stretching their pursuit of leaders Gor Mahia, who opened a ten-point lead at the summit of the FKF PL standings.

In spite of the setback, Fred Ambani’s charges remain in contention for the title with less than ten games to conclude the heated season. The two archrivals will both be in action in the rescheduled Week 25 ties as the league race heats up with more demanding matchups.

Ingwe will take their home turf at Nyayo Stadium on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, to face Nairobi United.

The clash kicks off at 3:00 pm.

Meanwhile, Gor Mahia next faces third-placed Shabana in their next fixture.

The Green Army will be at the same venue on Saturday, March 21, 2026, for the 4:00 pm kickoff.
