UDA Deputy Secretary General dies

The party shared the news on Thursday, December 11, 2025, on X, describing his passing as a major loss to the organisation.
According to the party, Ole Sambu was a key figure in its leadership and played a crucial role in strengthening the UDA’s structures across the country. He was recognised as a dedicated leader who believed in the party’s principles and worked tirelessly to advance its agenda.
“A Message of Condolence on the Passing of Deputy Secretary General Mr. Daniel Ole Sambu. It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that, on behalf of the entire UDA Party family, convey our condolences following the passing of our Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Daniel Ole Sambu. Ole Sambu was not just a colleague in leadership but a strong pillar of our party; a dedicated democrat who has stood with the ideals of our Party. His strategic insight, unwavering commitment to the growth of our party and relentless work in building our structures from the grassroots are invaluable,” UDA statement read in part.
The UDA leadership noted that his strategic thinking, steady commitment and active involvement in building the party from the grassroots had left a lasting impact. His contributions were seen as invaluable in shaping UDA’s growth and guiding its internal operations.
The party also extended its condolences to his family, describing the moment as one of deep grief for both his relatives and the wider UDA community. They pledged their support to the family during the difficult period and wished them strength as they mourned.
“In this moment of immense grief, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and relatives. The UDA fraternity shares in your loss and pledges our support during this most difficult time of grief. We pray that God grants the family strength and fortitude to bear the loss and offer our sincere condolences. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” the statement read.
