KRA announces job vacancies for multiple positions
By Valerian Khakayi, March 3, 2026The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced job vacancies, inviting qualified individuals to apply for a variety of positions across the organisation.
This recruitment drive is part of KRA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its workforce and improve service delivery across the country.
The authority announced the career opportunities for job seekers in an advertisement published in MyGov on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
“The Kenya Revenue Authority is the national revenue collection agency for the government of Kenya. Our Vision is: “An agile tax and customs revenue agency facilitating voluntary compliance for all.” KRA is seeking results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced individuals with high integrity to fill the following positions,” KRA announced.
KRA further advised that detailed job descriptions for the advertised positions are available on their official website and that interested candidates are requested to submit online applications by March 23, 2026.
Directives to job seekers
KRA reminded applicants that it is a criminal offence to present fake certificates or provide incorrect information and that any form of canvassing, falsification, or misrepresentation of qualifications would lead to automatic disqualification. Only shortlisted and successful candidates will be contacted.
The authority emphasised its commitment to equal employment opportunities, encouraging men and women, members of all ethnic groups, persons with disabilities, and marginalised communities to apply.
KRA also clarified that it does not charge any application, processing, or interview fees at any stage of recruitment.
Additionally, successful candidates will be required to present a certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, clearance from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), a tax compliance certificate from KRA, a clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and a current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) in line with Chapter Six of the Constitution.
