Kenya Power lists areas to experience blackout on Sunday, January 25
Kenya Power has announced planned power maintenance that will affect several areas on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
According to Kenya Power, the maintenance will last most of the day in affected regions.
The announcement included areas in Nairobi and parts of Machakos County. Kenya Power explained that some customers along Mombasa Road will be affected.
“The listed area will be under planned power maintenance tomorrow,” the company said. They advised residents to check the schedule online for the latest updates.

Affected areas include Small World, Game Ranch, Bhachu Gas, and adjacent customers. From the timings given by Kenya Power, the blackout is temporary and meant to improve service reliability.
