Mbavu Destroyer celebrates MTA Awards win with fresh vow to embarrass Somali Boxer
By Steve Ireri, August 12, 2026Amateur boxer and content creator Mbavu Destroyer has used his latest MTA Awards victory to reignite his war of words with professional boxer Sabir Muhdin, popularly known as Somali Boxer, promising to subject his rival to another painful defeat when they meet in the ring.
In a TikTok video shared on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, Mbavu appeared to use his latest achievement as another opportunity to mock his rival, proudly displaying the trophy he received at the MTA Awards while issuing a fresh warning ahead of their anticipated rematch.
Holding up the award, which featured golden edges, Mbavu told Somali Boxer that the trophy represented an achievement rather than a body part, before turning the joke towards his rival’s ribs.
“Somali Boxer, this is called a trophy and an award. This is not a part of your body; it is an award. This is what I have received for my achievements,” he said.
He said the award was evidence of his accomplishments and suggested that his next victory would come with the unusual prize of three of Somali Boxer’s ribs.
Mbavu went on to jokingly claim that he would celebrate his next victory while holding the ribs, just as he was celebrating his MTA Awards triumph with the trophy.
Mbavu escalated the taunt, saying he intended to keep Somali Boxer’s ribs as a trophy after thrashing him in their next encounter.
“The next time, just like I am cheering with this award, next I will cheer holding three of your ribs after thrashing you,” he added.
He did not stop there, joking that he would even turn the ribs into another award similar to the one he had just received.
“Next, just know that I will take those ribs and use them to make an award like this one,” he said.
Mbavu Destroyer also insisted that his determination had intensified, warning Somali Boxer that their next clash would be even more serious.
“Because I have even gotten more bitter and it will go down so badly,” he said.
Weaker rival
Previously, K24 Digital reported that Mbavu declared himself the biggest boxer on the East Side and vowed to settle the score when he and Muhdin met in the ring.
In a TikTok video on Sunday, June 28, 2026, Mbavu Destroyer accused Muhdin of bribing judges during his match with Mahmud and claimed that the boxer was now using his resources to intimidate him.
“I already said that I am the biggest boxer on the East Side,” Mbavu Destroyer began.
“So, Somali Boxer, beware. I know you bribed the judges, and now you are paying people to hunt me down,” he alleged.
Mbavu Destroyer, however, maintained that wealth could never guarantee victory or control over another person’s life.
“Bro, what you should know is that money can’t buy life,” he said.
According to the entertainer, the alleged incidents have only made him more motivated to face Muhdin in the boxing ring.
He warned that the next encounter between them would be far more intense than their previous meeting.
“Now I am so mad, and when we meet for boxing, it’s going to be fire,” he declared.
Mbavu Destroyer further claimed that Muhdin had only succeeded in provoking him, promising that he would be ready to respond when the opportunity presented itself.
“So you have only agitated me, and I am going to address you. I am going to find you, and it’s going to be bad,” he added.
