How to book a Huduma Centre appointment online and skip the long queues

The service agency reminded the public that booking early guarantees faster assistance across its nationwide branches. In a post shared on X on August 15, 2026, the agency urged citizens to “book an appointment and access services at your convenience.”
The booking system works through the Service by Appointment portal on the official Huduma Kenya website.
Using this portal, you can lock in a time slot for different public services such as National ID replacements, Kenya Revenue Authority PIN registration, Good Conduct certificates, and Social Health Authority updates.
The agency urged citizens to use the system to “access services at your convenience” and “avoid the last minute rush!”
Simple steps to secure your slot
Reserving a spot takes just a few minutes on a smartphone or computer. Start by visiting appointment.hudumakenya.go.ke/SBA and signing in with your eCitizen details or National ID credentials.
New users can create an account by entering their ID number, mother’s first name, active phone number, and a chosen password. An activation code comes via SMS to complete the setup.
Once logged in, tap on the appointment booking option to fill in your visit details. Select your nearest Huduma Centre from the menu, pick the specific service you need, and choose an available date alongside your preferred time.
After confirming, the portal sends a confirmation message to your phone and provides a printable slip showing your scheduled time.
What to keep in mind on visit day
On the scheduled day, arrive at your chosen station slightly before your slot. Show your confirmation SMS or printed ticket to customer service officers at the desk for fast direction to the counter.
Remember to carry all original identification documents and supporting files required for your specific service.
All official government service payments go through eCitizen. If you do not have reliable internet access, you can get assisted online bookings at Huduma Centre cyber stalls for a standard fee of Sh150.
