Getting a place at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is a goal for many students looking to start or advance a career in healthcare. While the application process is mostly online, it requires careful planning to ensure all requirements are met. From choosing the right course to submitting the necessary documents, understanding the process can save time and increase the chances of admission.

1. Choose the Right Course

KMTC offers a wide range of programs, including certificate courses, diploma courses, higher diploma and upgrading courses, and short courses.

Each program has its own entry requirements. Some need specific KCSE grades, particular subjects, or work experience for upgrading programs. Applicants are advised to check the course list and minimum qualifications before starting the application.

2. Application Routes

There are two main routes for applying to KMTC:

Recent KCSE graduates applying for certificate or diploma courses must use the KUCCPS Student Portal: https://students.kuccps.net.
