Digital Content creator Yagga has revealed why he rarely misses people in his life, opening up about his philosophy of detachment and how the loss of his mother shaped his emotional boundaries.

In an interview on Sunday, February 22, 2026, he said he doesn’t get sentimental over friends, siblings, or past relationships.

“If the people you care the most about, you don’t miss them and you don’t see them for a while, then yeah,” he said.

He added that over the years, he has learned the rule of detachment, choosing not to become emotionally dependent on anyone.

Life lessons from loss

“People are always disappointed. Your best friend could become your worst enemy as well,” Yagga said. “If you love your relatives or your brothers or family so much, if they die tomorrow, you’re going to be hurt. That’s true. I felt that when I lost my mum.”

Yagga explained that his mother’s passing was the only time he truly felt missing someone, and it taught him an important coping mechanism.

“I learned to detach myself from anything. Like, I will be there, I will care about you, love you and all that, but there is a point where I cannot cross. So in case you die… I’ll just say, ‘Ah, it’s sorry.’ You’re not broken when it happens. It’s okay. I’ll be like, life happens. We’re good to go,” he said.

Handling heartbreak

He said this approach allows him to live without being weighed down by emotional dependency, heartbreak, or the constant fear of disappointment.

Even in romantic relationships, Yagga said he can walk away in a moment if necessary, handling breakups calmly.

“Only brokenness can make me feel bad, honestly. But a friend turning their back on me, me not seeing somebody missing, nah,” he added.

Yagga also shared insights into his daily interactions, explaining why he sometimes seems indifferent to social niceties. “I just come, enter my bed, I’m out… Bro, you’re here, I’m here. You’re good, I’m good,” he said.
