Wuod Fibi crowns Bahati king of clout chasing, claims DNA test meant to promote hospital

According to the producer, the whole affair is scripted by the singer to create a buzz and push his brand.
Wuod Fibi hailed Bahati as the king of clout chasing in Kenya, saying that the drama surrounding the woman and the DNA test is all content created by the singer.
Prediction of results returning negative
He added that the results would come out negative, marking the end of the drama, and by then, the singer would have pocketed his earnings from the promotion.
“Bahati is such a brilliant content creator. All that ‘Mama’ Drama just to advertise a hospital. He is no doubt the king of Kiki hapa Kenya. The result will come out as NEGATIVE,” he said.
The singer, who was raised in a children’s home, recently caused a buzz with news that a woman claiming to be her mother had surfaced.
He organised a meeting and revealed in an Instagram post on Sunday, February 15, 2026, that he felt both relief and confusion after finally meeting the woman, acknowledging that the encounter left him with more questions than answers.
“🥹🥹🥹 I Have Finally Met “Mum, and all I can say is I am left with More Questions than Answers… I am Confused 🥹🥹🥹,” Bahati wrote.
Bahati’s expectations
The pair visited a medical facility for a DNA test on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 and were guided through understanding and coping with the outcomes, regardless of whether the claim is confirmed or not.
“Before Bahati and the mother receive the results, we conduct counselling. In fact, the process begins with counselling, after which we hand over the results and then address the impact of those results,” a medic who attended to them explained.
On his part, Bahati remained open-minded, expecting the results to be anything.
“At the moment, I have no expectations about the DNA test. I am expecting the results to be anything,’ he said as they prepared for the DNA test.
