Wazimu! YY Comedian reacts after woman claims she is his lover
Content creator and comedian YY Comedian has reacted to claims made by an anonymous woman who says she is in a romantic relationship with him.
The claims were shared through an anonymous screenshot that YY Comedian reposted on his Instagram page on Sunday, January 19, 2026. In the post, the woman claimed she had been dating the comedian for nearly three months but was unsettled by his behaviour.

She claimed that YY Comedian does not allow her to touch his phone despite frequently pushing for marriage, a situation she said left her confused and uncertain about their future together.
The woman further admitted that she is also involved with another man, whom she said provides for her and takes care of her needs.
“We have been dating with yy comedian for almost 3months but this dude can’t allow me to even touch his phone, and he keeps on begging me for marriage. I’m confused coz i love him, and at the same time i have this mwesh who does everything for me,” the lady said.
Reacting to the claims, YY Comedian appeared to dismiss the situation, questioning whether the problem was due to him not giving her access to his phone or this other man she was seeing.
“Wakenya mumeshaanza kuwa wenda wazimu sindio, shida ni simu, mwesh, ama marriage? YY Comedian stated.
YY Comedian’s love life
This comes months after YY opened up about his past relationship with Noela Toywa, revealing it had progressed to the point of dowry discussions before ending abruptly.
Speaking on Alex Mwakideu TV on October 28, 2025, the comedian said he had planned to pay dowry in March, but the relationship quietly collapsed before then.
YY said his intentions with Noela were serious and long-term, but the relationship ended after what he described as a breach of personal values. While he declined to disclose specifics, he noted that certain boundaries he had clearly communicated were crossed. Despite the fallout, he said there were no hard feelings and that he had forgiven her.
The pair’s romance had played out publicly, marked by grand gestures and widespread fan admiration. However, by January 2025, YY confirmed they had parted ways, saying, “We separated, just like how people separate. It’s life.”
