Wanjiru Wa Waya challenges fans to reveal the man they think she is dating

Speaking in a playful TikTok video on Saturday, May 16, 2026, Wanjiru questioned ongoing rumours surrounding her love life while hinting that she may soon publicly unveil the person she is romantically involved with.
“Rumours out there; I wonder who they claim I date. I am asking because I am just about to post my person,” she said.
The entertainer said she has been hearing different claims and speculations online regarding her dating life and now wants people to openly say who they think she is seeing.
According to Wanjiru, she is preparing to attend her sister’s dowry ceremony soon, where she and her alleged partner are expected to wear matching outfits, something she hinted could finally expose her relationship publicly.
“Because there is a dowry ceremony for my sister I am attending very soon, and we will dress in the same outfits, but before that, I would want to know,” Wa Waya explained.
She jokingly stated that before posting her “person,” she first wanted to hear the names fans and online gossipers have allegedly linked her to.
The actress further encouraged followers to freely share the rumours they have heard concerning her romantic life, appearing amused by the public curiosity surrounding her relationships.
“I would want to hear what people out there say or what they have perpetrated regarding my dating life. Please tell me,” she said.

In the video shared on her TikTok page on Saturday, February 7, 2026, Wanjiru thanked her mum for always being there for her through thick and thin and expressed just how smitten she is by the deep love and bond they share.
“You all have been greeted by my mum,” Wanjiru wrote in the caption, adding multiple love emojis to show her affection and pride.
In the short clip, the singer is seen dancing with her mum as she showed her some of the popular moves that have been trending in the showbiz industry lately.
Wanjiru danced in a variety of styles with her mum, laughing and encouraging her, while her mum is also seen at one point confidently showing off some of the moves she knows, matching her daughter step for step.
The playful interaction between mother and daughter continued throughout the video, with Wanjiru beaming as she guided her mum through each dance.
Towards the end, Wanjiru gave her mum, who was clad in the Catholic Church’s Mother Union attire, a warm hug, leaving her emotional and visibly touched by the display of love and appreciation.
