Wahu celebrates her siblings with heartwarming tributes and photos
By Charles Ouma, February 26, 2026Kenyan musician Wahu has celebrated her sisters with heartwarming tributes appreciating each of them.
Reflecting on their childhood and shedding light on their illustrious careers, the singer penned heartwarming tributes to her two sisters, which she shared across her social media platforms on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
Wahu revealed that the oldest of her two sisters is a doctor, nick-named Aunty wa Majuu, as she is based in the United States, where she works as a physiatrist.

She added that her older sister has been the strict one since childhood, an attribute that she has carried into adulthood.
“Here are the Kagwi gyals . Yule wa red anaitwa Aunty wa Majuu aka Dr Sarah. Ni 1st born wetu. Anatupelekanga mbiyo ata in these our big ages
. She’s a physiatrist, so ukiwa na shida za Akili, you can see her…shida ni she’s based in the Yuez…so …. Sorry
(You can see her to handle any mental health challenges),” she stated.
The defender of the family
She stated that the second-born, named Charity, who is a lawyer by profession, is the peacemaker in the family.
Using a line from Nameless’ popular song, Wahu revealed that Charity is the defender of the family, nick-named Aunty Nice.
“Wa Katikati ni Aunty nice . Our 2nd born and also our peacemaker
. Anaitwa Charity Na ni wakili mkubwa sana hii Nairobi msimuone hivi
so don’t mess with me
. This is the true “commit a crime & i’ll be your defender” wachaneni na @namelesskenya
,” she said.

This loosely translates to: “The middle one is Aunty nice, named Charity. She is a senior lawyer in Nairobi”.
Mum’s favourite
Taking a walk down memory lane, Wahu narrated that as the lastborn, she enjoyed treats from their mother.
The singer added that she was also mum’s favourite and jokingly stated that as last borns’ they do not like being shouted at.
“Alafu me…mums kitinda mimba , mums favorite . Yule mum alikuwa analetea switi na juice Ambieni Sarah lastborns hatupendi kushoutiwa (Then me, mum’s last born and her favourite who would enjoy treats of sweets and juice). We don’t do well with violence
I love these ladies…sisters are the best
,” she stated.
