In a post on her Instagram page on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, Murugi addressed the comments in a mocking tone, reacting to claims that the CX5 had won in comparison to her vehicle. She joked that such remarks should have been made earlier, before she made the purchase worth millions.

Murugi recently unveiled her brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, describing it as a personal milestone that aligns with her current season of life. In an Instagram post on January 26, 2026, she could not hide her excitement as she celebrated the luxury purchase in her signature confident style.
“Baddie got a Benz. Now she’s a baddie in a Benz… Everything about this car feels like me. The me I am right now!” she wrote, expressing how closely the vehicle reflects her present self.
According to the content creator, the car represents more than just a luxury purchase. She said it symbolises honouring her personal transformation and embracing changing seasons in a way that feels authentic.
“I love that I can honour my changing seasons in a way that feels right for me,” she shared, emphasising the deeper meaning behind the acquisition.

The unveiling came weeks after she announced that she was selling her Land Rover Discovery, marking the end of a two-year journey with the luxury SUV. In an Instagram post on Friday, January 9, 2026, Murugi explained that the decision was motivated by her desire to try something new.
She expressed affection for the vehicle, which she fondly named Shaba, noting that it had served her well and hoped it would find a new owner who would appreciate it just as much.
“I’m selling my baby. After two years with her, I want to try something new, so I’m letting go. She’s served me well, and I’d love to see my precious Shaba go to a loving home,” she wrote.
