Sean MMG shares struggle with time zone adjustment following UK arrival

By , December 13, 2025

Dancer-turned-Arbantone-singer Sean MMG has shared his amusing yet confusing experience of adjusting to time differences after arriving in the United Kingdom.

Speaking after landing in Northampton on Saturday, December 13, 2025, he described the disorientation caused by the time zone change and how it conflicted with his body’s internal clock.

According to Sean MMG, it was 4:05 a.m. local UK time when he arrived, yet he felt as though it were 6 a.m. and that he had not slept at all.

“Hey, listen to this… guys, what do you mean? Here in the UK, it’s still night. Right now it’s 4:05 in the morning, but I feel like it’s 6,” Sean said.

He said the feeling left him craving more rest, noting that he wished he could sleep again and wake up at 2 p.m. to feel fully refreshed.

Comparing the local time with Kenya, he noted it was 7:05 a.m. back home, making him feel as if he had woken up in the evening, even though he was on schedule in the UK.

“I haven’t slept properly, and in Kenya it’s 7:05. I feel like I need to sleep more and wake up at 2 in the afternoon,” he added.

The singer admitted the experience had left him momentarily confused about when to sleep and how to adjust his body clock, a common challenge for travellers crossing multiple time zones. He described the sensation of being in two different times at once, saying that although he was on time, his body and mind were not aligned with the local morning.

“When I finally wake, it feels like evening, even though I’m on time. Waa!” Sean said.
