Sandra Dacha proudly displays her body transformation following weight loss journey
By Paulette Mboga, December 7, 2025Actress Sandra Dacha has shared a new photo showing the progress of her weight loss journey, proudly displaying her transformation in a beautiful dress.
The photo posted on Saturday, December 6, 2025, shows how far she has come, especially after months of documenting her steps toward better health.

From January 2025, Sandra began sharing updates about her weight loss, explaining that she was using Ozempic shots to support her journey. She has been open about how the process started and what pushed her to take it seriously.
In a past post, she said she began using Ozempic after a health scare that happened during a hospital visit in October 2023. A nurse quietly advised her to consider losing weight, telling her she had reached a stage described as “greater morbid obesity”.
Sandra later shared the progress she was making after starting the treatment.

“Started my weight loss Ozempic journey in August last year (2024)… this is my fourth month, and I am loving it. I weighed 152 kgs, and today I weigh 135 kgs. Losing 1 kilo a week!!! I have a long way to go. Patience is key. I want to go back to my usual kgs…115, 123 hapo,” she said.
Opening up about her long journey
In July 2025, she addressed criticism from someone who questioned why she was working to lose weight, yet she had once said she was comfortable at 123 kg. Sandra explained that she had always been plus-size from birth.
“I am not always the type of person who explains herself a lot here, but let me do it today for this ginene of a lady. I was born weighing 6 kilos already, so that should tell you how comfortable I have always been being a plus size. Yaani mimi sijawahi jua kukonda ni nini,” she said.

She went on to clarify what changed and why she felt it was time to take action. Sandra revealed that her weight shot up during the COVID-19 period, pushing her far beyond her usual size.
“My actual weight has always been 123 kg… Corona happened, then I went up to 152 kg, which is the last stage of obesity. It’s called greater morbid obesity! Nikaseama, ‘No, no, no, no, no, nataka kurudi kwa ile yangu nimezoea.‘ What I am doing now is toning down,” she added.
Sandra finished by saying she feels better as the journey continues. “I feel lighter and happier like before,” she said, showing that the transformation has changed not only her body but also her overall well-being.
