Rose Muhando removes wig on stage as gospel concert climaxes with intense dancing

Revered Tanzanian gospel singer Rose Muhando ended up removing her well-installed wig after a gospel concert she was headlining on Saturday, February 7, 2026, climaxed in a session of intense dancing and praying.
In a video shared on her TikTok page on Sunday, February 8, 2026, the singer is seen leading hundreds who had gathered inside a hall in praise, asking them to keep jumping and shouting in joy for what the Lord had done.
The singer had a long line of choir members and dancers on stage with her, who acted as a support cast and kept showing the audience how to dance to some of the songs she was leading.
As the praise reached its peak, Muhando removed her wig, exposing her natural hair styled in neat cornrows.
After removing the wig, the singer then urged all people who were at the event to remove something, at least a piece of a handkerchief or cloth, and wave it in the sky as they danced.
In the video, the attendees are seen complying with Muhando’s request, and she was motivated to even show off more dance moves as the concert neared an end.
Fake prophet story
Muhando has been trending lately, thanks to her clapback at people who had claimed she is in a relationship with Kenyan pastor Robert Lumbasi, as well as for her revelation that a fake prophet once tried to kill her.
For the latter story, the songstress, while speaking in an interview with Bongo Planet on Thursday, January 15, 2026, recounted how she was nearly buried alive in her own compound after falling into the hands of what she now believes was a con preacher operating through her former management.
Muhando narrated how the episode unfolded at a time when she was physically and emotionally weak, making her susceptible to the manipulation, which was disguised as spiritual help.
“At that point, my heart had no peace. At that time, I was very thin and going through serious hardships, so whenever any servant of God came and spoke, I believed them,” Rose said.

According to Muhando, the incident occurred while she was at home with members of her music team, including dancers she worked with at the time.
She recalled that her former manager, whose name she declined to disclose, informed her that a servant of God from Arusha was coming to pray for her.
“One day, I was at home with the young people I used to sing with and my dancers. My former manager, whose name I will not mention, told me that a servant of God from Arusha was coming to pray for me,” Rose shared.
Shortly after, the man arrived at her home and introduced himself as a prophet with a divine assignment.
Muhando said he claimed that God had instructed him to build an altar at her compound, a directive she did not question due to her fragile state at the time.
“He came to my house and told me that God had spoken to him and instructed him to come and build an altar at my home. This servant of God had been sent by my manager,” she narrated.
She explained that the preacher ordered her dancers to take hoes and dig a pit behind her house.
The hole, she recalled, was unusually large, comparable in size to a small house, a detail that later heightened her fear once she began sensing that something was wrong.
“He then ordered the young people to take hoes and dig a pit behind my house. They dug a very large hole, almost the size of my house,” she said.
