TikToker and businesswoman Rish Kamunge has cautioned people using Ozempic against consuming alcohol, warning that the combination can trigger harsh physical reactions and unexpected side effects.

Speaking on Saturday, December 20, 2025, while sharing her personal experience, Kamunge said using Ozempic forced her to completely quit alcohol, explaining that drinking became intolerable once she started the medication.

According to her, the body naturally rejects alcohol when on Ozempic, making it impossible to continue drinking even by choice.

“If you use Ozempic, you have to stop drinking alcohol completely. Lately, I have developed a baby face, wow. But when you are on Ozempic, I want to warn you that you must quit drinking and all those habits because you and alcohol will no longer get along,” she said.

Kamunge explained that anyone planning to start Ozempic or similar weight-loss injections such as Mounjaro should be mentally prepared to give up alcohol and other habits altogether.

She emphasised that the decision is not optional, noting that the body simply does not tolerate alcohol once the medication is introduced.

“It is not about choosing or forcing yourself. No. Alcohol will simply not agree with your body. It really does not like alcohol at all. I also experienced some very intense withdrawal symptoms. So if you want to start Ozempic or Mounjaro, be sure you are ready to quit one of them,” she added.

Kamunge also disclosed that the cost of Ozempic currently stands at around Ksh30,000, information she shared in response to frequent questions from followers curious about the drug and its accessibility.

“And for those asking about the price, Ozempic costs around Ksh30,000,” she added.

BBL plans

The revelation comes just a day after Kamunge announced plans to undergo a Brazilian butt lift (BBL).

Speaking in a video shared on her TikTok page on Friday, December 19, 2025, Kamunge stated that she intends to have the BBL procedure to enhance her physique as she prepares to resume travelling.

“Y’all, I don’t care what you say about BBL; mine is coming. I will do it because I want to go back to travelling the world. I have to go out there with a good body,” she said.

She noted that the decision comes despite criticism from some followers, who have commented that results from similar procedures can sometimes appear uneven.

“Despite the criticism I have seen from some of you saying that some people who did BBL have their buttocks looking shapeless, like a Royco cube, mine is coming,” Kamunge said.

Kamunge said that before proceeding with the BBL, she is completing her final sessions of Ozempic treatment, which she has been using to reduce her weight.

She reported that she has already lost 38 kilograms, bringing her current weight to 113 kilograms, and plans to continue Ozempic for another three months to reach her target weight of 80 kilograms.

“I am doing Ozempic for another three months to target 80 kgs, because now I am at 113 kgs. I have already lost 38 kgs,” she said.
