Reverend Lucy Natasha lists 10 reasons why strong women stay single
By Steve Ireri, April 10, 2026Lucy Natasha, the founder of Empowerment Christian Church, has shared a message aimed at encouraging women, outlining what she described as key reasons why many strong women choose to remain single.
In a post shared on Facebook on Friday, April 10, 2026, the preacher framed singleness not as a setback but as a season of purpose, growth, and protection.
She emphasised that being single should not always be viewed negatively, noting that for many women, it is a deliberate phase shaped by personal values and life experiences.
“10 REASONS STRONG WOMEN STAY SINGLE. Not every single season is loss. Some is protection,” she wrote.
Reverend Natasha highlighted that strong women often have clear standards and are unwilling to settle for less than what they believe they deserve. According to her, such women prioritise peace in their lives and are intentional about avoiding situations that may disrupt their emotional or mental well-being.
“They have standards. They don’t settle. They value peace,” she added.
She also pointed out that focus plays a major role, explaining that many women choose to remain single as they concentrate on personal growth, careers, or spiritual journeys.
In addition, she noted that past experiences, including emotional hurt, can influence decisions to take time before entering new relationships.
“They are focused. They’ve been hurt before,” she added.

The preacher further explained that the desire for genuine love also contributes to this choice, stating that many women are not interested in superficial relationships but are instead waiting for meaningful and authentic connections.
Independence and selectiveness were also cited as key factors, with Natasha noting that strong women are often self-reliant and intentional about who they allow into their lives. She added that some are in a healing phase, taking time to recover and rebuild before committing again.
“They want real love. They are independent. They are selective. They are healing,” she wrote.
Faith, she said, remains central, with many women choosing to trust God’s timing rather than rushing into relationships.
Reverend Natasha also encouraged women to remain patient and steadfast, assuring them that the right partner will come at the appropriate time
“They trust God. Stay strong. Stay patient. Stay ready. The right one will come. Share ” she wrote.
