Empowerment Christian Church (ECC) Reverend Lucy Natasha has announced the indefinite closure of her physical church services due to venue-related challenges.

In a statement shared with members of Empowerment Nation on Saturday, January 10, 2026, the popular televangelist announced that, starting Sunday, January 11, 2026, congregants would no longer gather at the Biashara Plaza Rooftop, which has been the church’s physical meeting place.

“Due to venue challenges, starting this Sunday, the 11th, we shall not be gathering at Biashara Plaza Rooftop,” she announced.

Reverend Lucy Natasha clarified that all church services will now continue exclusively online until further notice.

She called on members of Empowerment Nation to stand with the church in prayer during the transition period, expressing faith that they will soon move into what she described as a “God-ordained space”.

“Please stand with us in prayer as we transition toward our own God-ordained space. Let’s stay connected,” she said.

Hopeful tone

Despite the setback, the preacher struck a hopeful and reassuring tone, declaring blessings over the congregation and encouraging members to remain steadfast as services move online.

“We declare blessings over Empowerment Nation—favour, provision, and peace in this season,” she added, assuring congregants that they would continue to receive spiritual nourishment through online platforms.

Reverend Lucy Natasha further encouraged her followers not to lose heart, emphasising faith, continuity, and divine provision during the period of change.

“You will not lack, you will not miss your moment. In Jesus’ name,” she concluded.

This comes a few weeks after Lucy Natasha showcased her sleek dance moves while performing to Iyanii’s popular hit ‘Rumours’, a song emphasising that gossip and negativity can never truly bring someone down.

In the clip, shared on her TikTok page on Saturday, December 27, 2025, Natasha was seen dancing in front of a staircase in her mansion, rolling her hands in a rhythm reminiscent of the popular ‘Anguka Nayo’ move.

The section of the song she focused on carries a strong message against detractors, highlighting that those who wish harm or plot against others will ultimately fail in their schemes.
