Pritty Vishy confirms fallout with her former best friend Becky Akinyi

Content creator Pritty Vishy has publicly confirmed that she is no longer friends with TikTok star Becky Akinyi, citing differences in values and content direction as the reason for their fallout.
In a statement shared on Instagram on Saturday, January 31, 2026, Pritty Vishy said she is no longer close to, in contact with, or associated in any way with Rebecca Akinyi, popularly known as Becky Akinyi.
“Just to clear the air, I am no longer friends with, close to, or in contact with Rebecca Akinyi,” she stated.
Pritty explained that the two were once good friends and shared moments she genuinely appreciated, adding that she always respected Becky’s privacy.
She revealed that their friendship first went quiet when Becky moved to Dubai and cut off communication, a decision she accepted without resentment.
When Becky later planned to return to Kenya, she reached out, and the two reconciled.
“We made peace, and I welcomed her back with no bad feelings,” Pritty said.
Following her return, Becky expressed interest in content creation and influencing, an area where Pritty Vishy had already established herself.
Pritty noted that she was willing to support and help her former friend grow in the space.
However, she said things later changed when Becky took a different direction with her online content.
“Eventually, she chose to go in a different direction with her content, which in itself was not an issue for me. But later on, certain things happened, and the type of content she chose to put out online did not sit well with me or align with my values.”
As a result, Pritty said she made the decision to cut off communication entirely and end the friendship.
“This is to clearly state that whatever Becky Akinyi posts or does online has nothing to do with me. We are no longer friends, and I should not be associated with her or her activities in any way.”
