DJ Pierra Makena has spoken on struggles in the entertainment industry, saying the space is hard and not friendly to those trying to grow.

In a post on Instagram on Sunday, February 15, 2026, she said the industry is messed up and shared her view as someone who has been in it for a while. Her words pointed to the pressure and challenges faced by people trying to make it.

She spoke from her time in the space and said her advice is simple. “Man for himself, God for us all,” she said, as she warned people not to depend on others to succeed.

She added, “Don’t ever depend on a human to make it,” and said many people do not want to see others succeed.
