‘Pia mimi hua napitia mengi’ – Karangu Muraya explains why he sometimes fails to help
Gospel singer Karangu Muraya has opened up on his experience with people reaching out to help, admitting that he, too, has his struggles and cannot come through for everyone.
In a statement shared on his social media platforms on Monday, February 9, 2026, the singer called for understanding whenever he is not in a position to help.
“Dear friends, pia mimi hua napitia mengi….saa zingine ukiniomba kitu nikwambie siyuko in position, please understand me,” Muraya stated.

This loosely translates to I also go through a lot. Please understand me when you request assistance at a time when I am not able to come through for you”.
The Kigoco singer shared a screenshot to paint a clear picture of what he goes through, revealing a message he received from someone who reached out to support him.
Message from person who sought help
In the message, the person claims that Muraya has in the past failed to help and appears to blame him for not only failing to help but also failing to link him up with someone to assist.
The person complains that, despite knowing someone who could come through, the singer failed to connect them.
“Hello, Baba Muraya, since I have tried so many times to request you for help, I know you would not have lacked someone whom you could have connected me with if you were not in a position to,” he said.
The person goes ahead to invite the singer to be the MC upon his demise, an indication that, having failed to get the assistance in his lifetime, Muraya could still be of help in death.

“Mazishi yangu usikose kukuje, be my MC for free” (Don’t miss my funeral, be the MC for free), the person adds.
