Kate Actress is celebrating her birthday today, February 3, 2026, as she turns 39 years old. The actress marked the day with a powerful message in which she reflected on her past, accepted her present and embraced her future.
In a brief post shared on Instagram, Kate appreciated her journey and the woman she has grown into over the years.
“To the woman I was, thank you,” Kate wrote, looking back at her past and the experiences that shaped her.
She also celebrated her present self, acknowledging the growth and strength she has gained through life’s challenges.

Kate and Phil’s breakup
Kate and Phil officially announced their separation on September 19, 2023, through a joint statement. They said they had made the decision to end their marriage long before the public announcement and asked for privacy for themselves and their children.
The couple had been married for five years, having tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club on November 18, 2017. They share a daughter, Njeri, born on December 15, 2019.
Moving on
In September 2025, Philip Karanja publicly shared photos with Mukami Maina on Instagram, marking the official introduction of his new relationship nearly two years after his split from Kate.
Before dating Philip, Mukami worked closely with Kate, at one point serving as her personal assistant. The two women have maintained a friendly relationship despite the complex dynamics.
Kate introduced her current partner, Michael Mwangi, to the public in 2024.
Michael, the General Manager of Tribe Hotel, has been seen with Kate in numerous social media posts, including trips abroad.
