Pastor Kanyari responds after Marion Naipei claims she is pregnant with his child
By Steve Ireri, February 24, 2026Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari has responded to claims made by social media personality Marion Naipei that she is pregnant with his child.
Speaking in an interview shared by 2Mbili on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the pastor described Naipei’s claims as part of the aftermath of her previous viral incidents.
“Leave Marion Naipei’s stories aside. She has still not healed from the escapade when she was trending, and she still carries the drama from that time,” he said.
He explained that she is still navigating the attention and dramas that came with her trending moments and that her current statements should be seen in this context.
The pastor emphasised that there is no evidence to support the pregnancy claims and that he cannot judge her on them, framing the situation as her personal matter.
“I know the claims she made are just part of that, so I cannot judge her right now, nor can I speak much about them because there is nothing to substantiate them. That was just for show, and it is her own business,” he said.
Inappropriate attire
The pastor also addressed criticisms of Naipei’s attire in church.
He acknowledged that she had previously lacked appropriate church clothing, owning only outfits suitable for casual or non-religious occasions.

“Regarding reports that she does not dress decently in church, I am aware of those stories. She is still new to the church, and everything has a process. I am hopeful she will change,” he said.
To help her integrate into the congregation, Kanyari revealed that he assisted her in acquiring proper church attire.
He urged the public to allow her time to adjust, noting that she is still new to the church and that every process takes time.
“I even opened a business to help her get appropriate clothes for church, because previously she only had outfits for casual or non-church occasions. Now we have started providing her with church-appropriate clothing, and I ask people to give her time,” he added.
On reports suggesting he was defending her, Kanyari confirmed that he is supporting Naipei because she is a member of his church.
He stated that his guidance is part of his pastoral responsibility and aimed at helping her adapt to church norms.
“As for claims that I am defending her, yes, I am, because she is a member of my church, and it is my responsibility to support her,” Kanyari added.
