Obidan Dela shifts focus to needy boy Tito after raising Ksh3.7M for ‘Kwa Mbae’ family

TikToker Obidan Dela has made a fresh appeal to Kenyans to support another vulnerable child, identified as Tito, just a day after a successful fundraiser he organised for the viral ‘Kwa Mbae’ boy raised over Ksh3.7 million.
In a video message shared on TikTok on Thursday, April 30, 2026, Obidan urged Kenyans to once again come together under the “Kenyans for Kenyans” spirit, calling on the public to extend support to Tito, whom he described as a young boy carrying the heavy responsibility of raising his siblings.
According to him, Tito is of school-going age but has been forced by circumstances to take on adult responsibilities, a situation that has touched many Kenyans who had earlier reached out asking him to intervene.
“Kenyans for Kenyans, it is now time to go and support Tito. We have now reached Tito, guys. If you want to reach out to him with support, this is the time. This is a very young boy who is in charge of raising his siblings. He is supposed to be in school, but he is raising his siblings,” Obidan said.

Obidan explained that he had initially been unable to respond to those requests because he was fully engaged in organising and executing the ‘Kwa Mbae’ fundraiser, which attracted widespread attention and support from across the country.
He noted that the previous fundraiser had surpassed expectations, raising over Ksh3.7 million, with contributions still ongoing from well-wishers even after the main event.
“Kenyans, you had reached out to me so much to intervene, but I was at ‘Kwa Mbae’, which is why I was unable to respond at that time. At ‘Kwa Mbae’ we raised over Ksh3.7 million and people are still sending money, and you can still send if you want,” he shared.
Building on that momentum, the content creator is now rallying Kenyans to redirect their generosity towards Tito, emphasising that even small contributions can make a significant difference in changing the boy’s life.
He reiterated his belief in collective action, encouraging people not to underestimate the impact of modest donations, and expressed confidence that Kenyans would once again rise to the occasion.
“Our slogan is that the small amount you have is very big, do not underestimate it. Now let’s support Tito,” he added.
