Nyako cautions Kenyans over Ruto’s rule

By , December 31, 2025

Germany-based Kenyan TikToker Nyako has issued a sharp warning to Kenyans about the leadership of President William Ruto, accusing him of prioritising foreign interests over the nation’s welfare.

In a TikTok live on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, Nyako used a metaphorical demonstration to convey her concerns. She blindfolded herself and explained that this symbolised how, in her view, President Ruto is following foreign powers blindly, particularly referencing Chinese influence.

“Let me show you how Ruto is following foreign interests. I blindfold myself with a cloth, and that is how I imagine he is guided,” she said.

She asked viewers to imagine multiple groups, including Somalis, Nigerians, Indians, and Chinese, guiding her movements across the country, emphasising the lack of awareness and agency she believes the current leadership exhibits.

“Imagine there are five groups in front of me, Indians, Somalis, Nigerians, and Chinese, leading me through the country. As president, he is being led without seeing clearly,” she added.

Nyako warned that the president’s focus on money above national interests could have serious consequences for Kenya over the next five years.

She cautioned that if citizens do not wake up from this slumber, they could be shocked to discover that the country has been sold away.

“Because of greed and valuing money above all else, in the next five years, if Kenyans do not wake up, they may find that the country has been sold away,” she added.

She stressed that this risk extends beyond ordinary citizens to politicians and their families, asserting that no one is truly safe under such governance.

“This will affect everyone, including politicians and their children. No one is safe,” Nyako said.

In her message, Nyako repeatedly urged Kenyans to stay vigilant and politically aware, warning against complacency and blind trust in leadership.

“I am just telling the truth. Kenyans should stay awake and aware, and not ignore what is happening around them,” she said.

Woman rep

Earlier on Saturday, December 27, 2025, Nyako sent a blunt message to Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris as she unveiled ambitious plans to dethrone her in the next General Election.

Speaking during a TikTok Live, Nyako openly declared her intention to vie for the Nairobi Woman Representative position, positioning herself as a serious political challenger rather than a casual online commentator.

“I am the next Woman Representative of Kenya. Who is the current Woman Rep? Let us get serious. Please, guys, let me know who the current Woman Rep in Nairobi is,” Nyako said.

The self-proclaimed TikTok president identified Passaris as the incumbent and stated that the sitting Woman Representative should begin preparing to vacate the seat, insisting that a new wave of leadership was ready to take over.

She maintained that her political push was not symbolic, but part of a deliberate effort by social media creators to enter elective politics with purpose and resolve.

“Who is she? So I see it is Esther Passaris. Tell her that I need her to start packing her belongings. Tell her that I have asked her to start planning her exit because we are coming,” she said.
