Australian motivational speaker and evangelist Nick Vujicic has issued a strong message to Kenya’s leadership, urging President William Ruto and the country’s leaders to seek God’s guidance and align their decisions with biblical values.

Speaking on Saturday, May 16, 2026, during his visit to Kenya, Nick said he has had prophetic dreams concerning the country and warned that Kenya could face devastating moments if leaders and citizens fail to align themselves with God’s will.

“I have heard prophetic dreams about Kenya, and I have really felt that there is going to be a day where Kenya will be absolutely devastated,” Nick said.

The preacher urged Ruto to reflect deeply and ask God important questions about his actions and leadership.

“Ask God three questions: God, what do you want me to do that I am not doing? God, what am I doing that you want me to stop doing? God, what am I doing well that you want me to continue doing? Your president should be asking God those questions,” he stated.

Nick also sent a warning to churches and the government, saying there is a price to pay when leaders fail to make decisions guided by biblical principles.

“Also, to bring a warning to the churches and to the government that when we do not align our biblical decisions, there is a price to pay,” Nick added.

Nick to young Kenyans

At the same time, the motivational speaker encouraged Kenyan youth to rise and embrace leadership in their communities instead of waiting for the future.

“What is different this time round is that some of the young people of Kenya may actually believe for the first time that you are potentially today’s leader, not tomorrow’s leader not in ten years but leadership starts now; leadership starts with you and your immediate community,” he said.

Nick encouraged young people to boldly speak out, influence society positively, and pursue what they believe God has called them to do.

“Some of you feels like the Lord wants you to speak up, some of you to become influencers, and some of you to step out in what God has called you to the evangelist added.

He further noted that prayer plays an important role in leadership and national stability.

“God uses politicians who are aligned with the Lord and for as long as we pray for them and our country,” he said.
