Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black returns for Season 3 on August 27, and if the trailer is anything to go by, the Bellarie family is about to serve another generous helping of betrayal, blackmail, revenge and bad decisions. Netflix describes the new season as a battle for power, with Kimmie trying to hold on to her position while old enemies make their moves and dangerous secrets threaten to destroy everything she has built.

After two seasons of secret affairs, criminal dealings, shifting loyalties, family warfare and enough backstabbing to make a kitchen knife nervous, viewers have every reason to expect the new season to be gloriously messy.
