Mosiria refutes claims of snitching on colleague to boss for a promotion
By Cynthia Lodite, December 22, 2025Nairobi County’s Head of the Customer Care Department, Geoffrey Mosiria, has spoken out against viral claims accusing him of snitching on his seniors to his boss for a rank promotion.
In a post on his official X account on Monday, December 22, 2025, Mosiria explained what transpired while maintaining that all he did at the time was what justice demanded.
“I’ve seen this circulating online, with claims that I “snitched” by calling The T to report my bosses to former Governor Sonko. Let me be obvious. I did not snitch. I did what my conscience, my duty, and justice demanded,” Mosiria added.
He went on, adding that at the time when silence was safer, he chose courage.
Mosiria went on, adding that at a time when mothers and newborn children were being lost under the watch of people who cared more about their stomachs than the lives entrusted to them, he refused to look away.
“At a time when silence was safer, I chose courage. At a time when fear ruled, I chose truth. At a time when mothers and newborn children were being lost under the watch of people who cared more about their stomachs than the lives entrusted to them, I refused to look away,” Mosiria said.
“Those deaths were not statistics. They were someone’s wife, someone’s daughter, someone’s future. And someone had to speak. In the process, I risked my life. There were plans to silence me, to eliminate me, to make me disappear. But God did not allow it,” Mosiria noted.
“The same cartels that thought they were untouchable could only do one thing in the end run away. Call me a snitch if you must. History will call me brave. Because what I did, many saw but no one dared to do under that administration,” Mosiria explained.
“I stood up when it was dangerous. I spoke out when it could have cost me everything. And I would do it again. I strongly believe that many of you are alive today because of that decision because systems were questioned, because rot was exposed, because accountability was forced where none existed,” he added.
“Justice is never comfortable. Truth is never popular. But silence would have made me complicit. I chose humanity over fear. Lives over loyalty. Justice over comfort. And I will never apologise for that,” he added.
