Mosiria gifts Majembe Ksh3000 ahead of his bout with Mbavu Destroyer

Nairobi County Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, has expressed his support for rising Boxer Protifas Odipo, widely known as Majembe, ahead of their much-anticipated bout with Mbavu Destroyer.

According to Mosiria, following a chance encounter in the Nairobi CBD on Monday night, March 31, 2026, he gifted him Ksh 3,000, expressing confidence that he would win his upcoming match.

Taking to his official Instagram account after the unexpected meeting, Mosiria said he was impressed by Majembe’s determination and growing reputation in the fighting scene.

“They caught me unaware in the CBD, but I gave Majembe Ksh 3,000 in recognition of his victory. He has a bright future ahead. All the best Majembe, in your career,” Mosiria wrote.

Mbavu Destroyer vs Majembe bout

The bout dubbed Vurugu will be held on April 4, 2026, at Kasarani Stadium’s indoor arena.
