Mosiria appeals to IShowSpeed’s team to apologise to Jaymoh Decin
By Valerian Khakayi, January 13, 2026Nairobi’s Citizen Engagement and Customer Service CEC Geoffrey Mosiria has appealed to American streamer Darren Watkins Jr., widely known as ShowSpeed’s management and organisers, to apologise to Kenyan digital content creator James, alias Jaymoh Decin, following an incident in which he was pushed during the influencer’s Nairobi appearance.
Expressing his concern, Mosiria, in a video shared on his official social media pages on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, said he was disturbed by how Jaymoh Decin was treated, noting that the content creator had been invited to take part in a challenge involving IShowSpeed.
He explained that Jaymoh had followed instructions given to him by the organisers, including doing a challenge before IShowSpeed’s arrival.
“Niuchunga sana kuona Jaymo Decin alivyosukumwa, alisukumwa na IShowSpeed,” Mosiria expressed concern.
“Am going to follow this matter up, I’m going to look for the management of IShowSpeed so that they apologise. They invited him there to do a challenge with IShowSpeed after he did a challenge before he came, and they are the people who actually told him to do that challenge before he came here.”
Jaymo’s challenge
According to Mosiria, the organisers and IShowSpeed’s team should take responsibility for the situation since they were involved in setting up the challenge.
He urged them to arrange another opportunity for Jaymoh Decin to complete the challenge and to issue a public apology for the incident.
“So am appealing to the organisers, those who invited IShowSpeed, to make arrangements so that Jaymoh can have a chance to do that challenge and also apologise for pushing him,” he said.
Appeal to Kenyans
Mosiria also appealed to Kenyans, urging them to support local creators just as they support international stars.
He questioned why Kenyans could rally behind IShowSpeed but hesitate to extend the same support to one of their own.
“I want to appeal to Kenyans, let us support one of our own. Ikiwa tuliweza kumfollow IshowSpeed, mbona Jaymo tusimufollow ata yeye akuwe celeb wetu?” he urged.
IShowSpeed and Jaymoh’s altercation
In a video that has since gone viral, the American streamer is seen pushing Jaymo when he tried approaching him at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
The incident occurred amid his electrifying visit to Kenya as part of his ongoing Africa tour.
IShowSpeed arrived in the country to massive crowds, with fans trailing him through various parts of Nairobi as he livestreamed his experiences.
