Married men? Never! Eve Mungai vows not to date husbands
By Valerian Khakayi, March 30, 2026Media personality Eve Mungai has made it clear that she will never involve herself with married men, drawing a firm line on matters of love and relationships.
Speaking during an interview with local YouTubers on Monday, March 30, 2026, Eve emphasised her personal values, saying that dating married men is something she would never entertain.
“Mimi kama Eve, you will never ever in this life find me with a married man,” Mungai Eve said.
Known for her candid approach to relationships, Eve has often used her platform to speak on matters of integrity and self-respect, and this stance is no exception.

Her dating life
This comes months after she spoke out about the public’s focus on her love life, urging people to pay attention to more important matters in showbiz.
She says she does not understand why so much attention is given to who she dated or who she is currently dating.
“I am a person. You don’t have to say Mungai Eve’s ex-boyfriend or sijui Mungai Eve’s current boyfriend, eh, eh, what is the obsession?” she said on Friday, January 30, 2026, during a YouTube interview.
She explained that much of the attention may come from her previous relationships, which were known online.
“I think it is because my previous relationship, the one people knew was online, so people expected I should put out my partner. I think it is just curiosity,” Mungai Eve added.
Mungai Eve reflects on past habits
Mungai Eve also opened up about how her views on relationships have changed over time.
“Kitambo, I used to be the kind of person who would check phones when I had a partner. I would check their phones and everything,” she said.
She has since learned that snooping can indicate trust issues in a relationship.
“I have come to learn that if you check your partner’s phone, it means there is something,” she explained.

Currently, Mungai Eve says she is focusing on her career and private projects rather than her dating life. She emphasised that her work in showbiz should take priority over personal matters.
“Guys, let us do better, our showbiz ni about to date,” she said, stressing the need to shift attention to the industry.
Mungai Eve believes that the obsession with her relationships overshadows her professional work. She wants the focus to be on her talent and projects, not on who she has been with. She encourages a healthier approach to discussing celebrities’ lives.
“I am working on private projects,” she confirmed, highlighting that her personal life is secondary to her career.
