In a video shared on her official social media platforms on Monday, April 13, 2026, Manzi thanked the preacher for the support he had shown her during a difficult period in her life, especially in helping her start and sustain a business.
She also credited Kanyari for being a destiny helper, revealing that he played a key role in opening doors for her and supporting her business when it was struggling.
“Thank you so much, Pastor Kanyari am here to show my gratitude and to say thank you so much,” Manzi said.
“Umekuwa my destiny helper ulinifungulia biashara na umekuwa ukinisupport kwa hiyo biashara, biashara ilikuwa ikienda kuanguka kidogo daddy nilikuwa nakuambia na ulikuwa unanisupport.“
According to her, the support she received ensured that she never lacked basic needs.
“Sijawai lala njaa na watoto wangu hawajawai fukuzwa school fees, nyumba yangu haijawai fungwa kutoka nikuje kanisani kwako,” she added.

Kanyari facing backlash
Manzi wa Mombasa also acknowledged the backlash Kanyari has faced, saying he was often insulted because of people like her.
She praised him for never judging her, even after she opened up about her personal life.
“Umekuwa ukitukanwa sana kwa sababu yetu, haujawai tujudge, umekuwa ukituchukua vile tuko kwanza mimi umenichukua kama lesbian. I told you I’m a lesbian, but you have been trying to talk to me na umekuwa ukiniombea sana, and I’m very happy for that,” Manzi stated.
Choosing to step away
Despite the support and prayers, the socialite admitted she has struggled to change certain aspects of her life.
She revealed that despite her best efforts to distance herself from relationships with women, she found it challenging and ultimately chose to leave the church.
“Daddy nimeshindwa, I have tried my best kuwachana na wasichana lakini nimeshindwa na instead ya wewe kutukanwa juu yangu, nimeacha kanisa officially wacha nifanye vitu zangu,” Manzi disclosed.
She explained that her decision was also meant to shield the pastor from continued criticism.
“Umekuwa ukitukanwa juu yetu, umekuwa ukichukiwa watenda dhambi wote ukijaribu kuwabadilisha,“Manzi stated.
Even as she exits, Manzi wa Mombasa made it clear that she still respects Kanyari and appreciates his efforts to help others.
“You have done a lot, thank you so much. You have a good heart, and my God blesses you and continues helping others and changing them,” she said.
She hinted at a possible return in the future, saying she would consider going back once she feels she has made the changes she desires.
“I will come back siku yenye. I will feel like nimewachana na wasichana,” she added.
