Malu admitted that the year tested her in every possible way. “I cried. I prayed. I lost. I won. I learned. I failed,” she wrote, describing a period that pushed her to the edge. At times, she tried to numb the pain with alcohol, but nothing could erase the hard lessons life threw her way.
Financial setbacks also marked Malu’s 2025. She took loans, lost money, and even missed out on a visa plan she had been hoping to pursue. These experiences forced her to start over multiple times, leaving her feeling vulnerable and ashamed.
“I went silent because I was ashamed of failing; little did I know I was actually learning,” she shared.
Despite the struggles, Malu acknowledged the support system that kept her going. Her family and friends stood by her through thick and thin, reminding her that she was not alone. Their encouragement helped her see that every storm eventually has its sunshine.
Through her reflections, Malu emphasised that while she may have lost material things, she ended the year with priceless gains. She now has a loving partner, a home, and faith in God guiding her path.
“God is within me. I am ending the year with an amazing partner, a home, and God in my heart,” she wrote, expressing gratitude for the stability and love she has today.
Looking ahead, Malu expressed hope and determination for the coming year. At just 25, she plans to speak grace into her life, setting the tone for a future shaped by resilience and faith.
