Lydia Wanjiru calls out partygoers over road fights after club nights
By Paulette Mboga, May 16, 2026Content creator Lydia Wanjiru has spoken out against reckless behaviour after club nights following a viral video that showed two girls who appeared intoxicated behaving inappropriately by the roadside as people watched.
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, she questioned why some partygoers lose control after drinking and end up in dangerous situations.
Lydia Wanjiru explained that she could not understand why some people leave home looking presentable but later end up fighting and causing scenes in public after drinking alcohol.
“As someone who goes to the club, sometimes naona vitu zinafanyika, and I am like, really?” Lydia Wanjiru said.

“Ulitoka home, ukavaa poa, ukapaka makeup ukaenda ukakunywa pombe, only to end up doing such a thing,” she added.
She also questioned why some people end up fighting on the roads instead of going home after getting drunk. According to her, many situations happening after club nights are unnecessary and embarrassing.
“I thought watu wakilewa they black out. Or go home to sleep, what is taking you to the road to fight like that?” Lydia Wanjiru asked.
The content creator further spoke about dressing and behaviour while drinking. She said people who know they cannot control themselves while intoxicated should avoid situations that may leave them exposed in public.
“What is making you behave in a way such that mpaka nguo sijui zinatoka…kama unajua unakunywa vibaya, don’t wear some type of clothes,” Lydia Wanjiru stated.
Concerns over viral clip
Lydia Wanjiru went on to describe the behaviour seen in the viral clip as careless and lacking self-control. She warned that such moments can easily change someone’s life in a negative way.
“You look so classless, oh my God,” Lydia Wanjiru said.

“So out of self-control and classyless! Actions have consequences, and trust me, this kind of careless moment can change your whole life for the worse!” she added.
She also raised concerns about the safety of the people involved in the incident. According to her, the situation could have turned tragic, while others stood by and watched instead of helping.
“Imagine akiweza kufa, and there’s this evidence,” Lydia Wanjiru stated.
“And why are people just watching?” she added.
Her remarks came after the video spread online showing the two women appearing intoxicated by the roadside. The clip sparked conversations about behaviour after drinking, safety, and how people react during public incidents involving intoxicated individuals.
