Larry Madowo shares private message from love-struck Ugandan woman

Larry shared the confession from the woman in question without revealing her identity, stating that she hails from Uganda.
In the message, the woman shoots her shot, letting the renowned journalist know that she is keen on being his girlfriend.
She confessed that her solo journey of love, which has not been reciprocated, started way back when she started following Madowo and ended up liking him.
Bold proposal
Her message revealed that love blossomed in her heart, making her take the bold move of letting Madowo know how she is feeling.
Although written in broken English with poor punctuation, the message reached home, capturing Madowo’s attention.
“Hello, I am from Uganda, but in fact, when I started to follow you, I started to like you. Maybe you can give me one chance to be your girlfriend in Uganda. Thanks, your work is good,” Read the message as captured in the screenshot shared by the award-winning journalist.
This is not the first time that the accomplished journalist is receiving messages from women expressing their love.
Love-struck Kenyan woman
In October 2024, Madowo shared yet another screenshot of a message received from a woman who identified herself as Bonareri.
The woman in question reached out to Madowo with a bold marriage proposal by email.
Going straight to the point, the lady told Madowo that she is aged 24 and would like him to marry her, adding that everything would be explained later.
“Good day, Larry, No wasting words, I am twenty-four years old, Kenyan and want you to marry me. Everything will be explained later,” the lady wrote in her brief email.

She followed up on her proposal a few months later after Madowo failed to respond to the email.
“Reference is made to the below email. You didn’t give a yes or no answer,” the email read.
The message reached home, getting the attention of Madowo, who shared a screenshot of the same while seeking advice from his followers on social media.
