Kenyan Prince mocks Mosiria’s English as he warns him against judging forex traders

By , January 3, 2026

Forex trader Raymond Omosa, popularly known as Kenyan Prince, has insisted that he speaks English more fluently than Nairobi’s Citizen Engagement and Customer Service CEC Geoffrey Mosiria, as he warned him against making hasty statements about forex traders.

Speaking in a video shared on his TikTok page on Friday, January 2, 2026, Prince addressed claims made by Mosiria, who accused some forex traders of stealing from people’s accounts while claiming to be trading legitimately.

Prince said that he did not know Mosiria personally and did not remember him, but he expressed disbelief at the accusations.

“I have seen a video of this Kisii guy who works for the Nairobi County government, saying that we, forex traders, are stealing from people’s accounts while claiming that we trade in forex. Let me tell you, my brother, I don’t know your name, and I don’t remember you,” Prince said.

Prince emphasised his fluency in English, stating that Mosiria could not speak the language as well as he does, despite both being from the same county.

He described Mosiria as someone who shrugs a lot and questioned his ability to communicate clearly.

“This is a guy who shrugs a lot, and I don’t know whether he can speak fluent English like I do, though we come from the same motherland,” Prince shared.

The forex trader also gloated that Mosiria’s annual earnings, from January to December, were equal to or less than a single stop loss that he uses in one trade.

He advised Mosiria to look up the meaning of a stop loss and urged him to verify facts before making claims.

“I am sorry to say this, but let me tell you, my brother, your annual earnings from January to December are equal to or even less than a single stop loss that I use in one trade. Do you understand the meaning of stop loss? Go and Google it and let it do the work for you. I am very sure that your annual salary cannot match my stop loss. Those who know my accounts and how I trade can confirm this,” he said.

Prince added that those familiar with his trading accounts could confirm the legitimacy of his activities.

He further told Mosiria and others to investigate if they had doubts, rather than spreading misinformation.

“So, to the Kisii people with envy, we know about it, but reduce the envy and work. If you want to investigate us, come and investigate us. But you are old, so I advise young people to act correctly,” he said.

Mosiria’s statement

Earlier, on Thursday, January 1, 2026, Mosiria sent a warning to people claiming to earn their living from forex trading, saying they risked tarnishing the reputation of genuine traders.

Speaking in a TikTok video after hanging out with forex trader Manka FX, Mosiria explained that while there are youths who trade forex genuinely, many are only creating an illusion of wealth.

“I had recently talked about issues in forex trading. There are some youths who are genuinely doing it, for example, one I have here named Manka FX,” he said.

Mosiria expressed concern about those who do not understand how forex accounts work but spend their time flaunting expensive lifestyles in clubs, buying costly drinks, and drawing others into a desire for the same flashy life.

“But now there are others who do not even know how a forex account works, yet their work is to hang out in the streets and in clubs, showing off expensive items. They buy costly drinks and make other youths desire the same lifestyle. These are the ones I am addressing,” Mosiria said.

He said these youths are giving a false impression of success while engaging in illegal practices, including gaining access to other people’s accounts and transferring money to themselves.

“Some gain access to other people’s accounts and transfer money to themselves, tarnishing the names of genuine forex traders. Even I have been shown how to trade forex by these people,” Mosiria lamented.
