Kanyari rescues a mother of 6 and builds her a house
Salvation Healing Ministries founder, Prophet Victor Kanyari, has celebrated building a house for a needy family.
In a statement shared across his social media platforms on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the popular city preacher stated that he built the house for a mother of six who hails from Murang’a.

“Mama kutoka muranga ako na watoto sita na hakua na nyumba nikamjengea hii nyumba,” Kanyari said without sharing details of the needy family.
This loosely translates to: “Mother of six from Murang’a did not have a home, so I built this for her.
The preacher used a political slogan that was popularised by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki to celebrate the completion of the project.
“Kanyari ni fire si fire,” he added.
Kanyari’s initiatives
Kanyari’s impact in his community has earned him praises from many, including Nairobi Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, who hailed his transformation after worshipping at the church.
“Zakayo (pastor Kanyari) has decided to return what he obtained unlawfully (panda mbegu ya 310) and is now using it to help the less fortunate in society. In his church, nobody gives offerings; instead, they receive support from him (310),” Mosiria stated.
Mosiria likened Kanyari’s transformation from the controversial Ksh310 saga to a modern-day Zacchaeus. Mosiria noted that the preacher is a living example of true repentance and transformation.
“This reflects the true modern Zakayo, a life of repentance and transformation. Not many people appreciate those who speak the truth, but after listening to Pastor Kanyari, I noted that he is genuinely giving back to society in the same way Biblical Zakayo did.” Mosiria said.
Pressure to please the public
Kanyari, who operates the church located in the Njiru area of Nairobi, has been implementing several projects opened up on the pressure many people face trying to impress others, noting that it is impossible to make everyone happy despite one’s best efforts.
“In this world, you can never impress or make everyone happy. It’s not possible. You may give yourself a vow to help people, but making everyone happy is quite hard,” he said on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
“Live your life; that is what I would say,” the self-styled prophet added.
